♠ Nowhere boy ♠ Chapter 1 [Kims pov] Life is cruel. There are many reasons why life is cruel, you can be hurt and no one will noticed, you could have been arrested for something you didn't do. But for me I'm a orphan with nowhere to go. My Dad died when I was 4 and my mom kicked my out when I was 6 and during those years I learned to adapt to where I am or where I go. I've meant bad and good people. I'm 16 now so I have been living on the streets for 10 years its not that bad. "Mrs.Lakewood! Hey can I get something to eat today?" I asked one of my most favorite person alive Mrs.Lakewood I met her at the age of 7 shes an 20 or 30 year old woman who runs a restruant/bakery. She always gave me something to eat either it was breakfest, lunch, or dinner "Ofcourse kim but I would like to talk to you inside" I love hearing her voice its sweet calming and most imporantly gentle. I wonder what she wants to talk about is it my unheathy relationship with food or something about my clothes I know she would never say anything mean to me but I'm scared. "So kim you know when we first met?" she asked setting down some pancakes with whipped cream on top "yeah, why?" I shoved the delicious pancakes in my mouth. "Well I want to adopt you I havn't been able to have kids myself" w-what Mrs.Lakewood wants to adopt me!? I don't belive it she might be joking "You're joking right!?" I manged to say "I'm not joking and my husband Mr.Lakewood agreed" she responed. I'm getting adopted this the best day out of 16 years of life. Mrs.Lakewood got up to greet some customers, most of the customers didn't like me because I got free food every time I came to get food here, but they had to pay. Some of them actually threatened Mrs.Lakewood infront of her husband he did NOT like that. The most people who threatened her where white people they looked liked karens to be honest with you. "Kim can you please get up these kind people want to sit here" I looked up to see two men holding hand its not often you see this I personally think its cute. I got up from where I was sitting.
