Update log: 2/5/23 tommorow we have to return the hotel key, and we can not return to our home because of safety concerns. Also, my brother has autism and loud sounds freak him out. There was lots of heater machines making a sound like thunder. The hotel room is 200 dollars a day, and we don’t know where to go. At least we are all safe now. God will supply our future.. 2/7/23 Fortunately, people are paying for our hotel expense! We are staying here for free until the building is fixed. Black mold is a high risk for our home, and it’s dangerous, so we have to make sure its clean first. 32 other buildings in our community had the same flooding problem, some even worse. We are lucky, very lucky. The manager of the community gave us a offer for a new apartment in the area. It’s smaller, and the beds won’t fit in the bedroom. We might have to break it off until we can get smaller beds. I haven’t seen it yet, but at least we’ll be safer. Thanks for everybody’s support, and I just know everything will be a-o-kay! 2/14/23 I thought it was time for a new update. It’s been a week, and everything’s alright. My mom has handed the keys to the old busted apartment to the manager, since someone else wanted to live there. I don’t know why, but I’m guessing it’s going to get fixed up by then. It’s a pretty ghost-towny vibe in there, and doesn’t feel like home anymore. We’re in the new apartment now, and it’s simple and cute. It’s a special needs unit, perfect for my brother, who just turned 14 yesterday! He’s now a teen. Makes me sad. :( We couldn’t really celebrate his birthday yesterday due to constant moving. We got him a fuzz-a-mallow, a muffin with a candle on it, clothes, and a toy car. I played happy birthday on the violin during everything! So yeah, everything’s alright. I miiiight add a future update if things get better or worse. Hehe. Depends. Sorry I’ve been inactive, but I think things will be better now! Future update: … maaaaaaybe.
