BIO ---------------------- Name: Murp Merp III, goes by Murp Agender, it/its, aroace Age: no one knows. Murp has been around for as long as anyone can remember, before even the universe came into being. Random things: It will eat anything it can get its (figurative) hands on; it lost its body to a black hole; it lived in space when it had a body but that was before it got grounded on Earth; the other face on top of its head is their own person(info: Merp Murp III, goes by Merp, nonbinary (they/them), aroace); goo is constantly dripping off Murp, causing black holes wherever they land, which is how it lost its body; its got power bc why not, Hopping is basically where it teleports from one galaxy to another BACKSTORY ---------------------- "Nooo go the other way!!!" Merp begs. "Nope." Murp says, continuing to walk along the Andromeda Galaxy. "Why couldn't I get my own body?" Merp complains; Murp ignores them as this complaint is one that pops up every day. Without a warning, Murp Hops to the Milky Way, causing Merp to shriek, “Hey! Give me a warning before you Hop! You know I think it feels weird!” “Sorry, sorry. You were still complaining and I wasn’t sure if you’d even be able to hear me.” Murp says. “Oh whatever. It’s fine.” They grumble. There’s a sudden popping noise, as if something was causing its ears to pop, and it shakes its head to try to dislodge whatever is making the sound. “Wait wait don’t do that—” Merp says, but it’s too late. Murp shaking its head dislodged several drops of goo, causing black holes to appear out of nowhere. “Great, now what?” Merp asks; they are attempting to seem calm and maybe a bit annoyed, but having shared the same body as them for who knows how long, Murp can tell they’re as confused and scared as it is. All of a sudden, one of the black holes grows larger, consuming all the others. “Drop! Now!” Merp yowls. “But—There’s a planet down there! With things living on it! If one of the black holes gets close enough it’ll k!ll everything on it!” Murp says, desperately searching for a different way out. The black hole grows increasingly larger, tugging at Murp. Then, with no warning whatsoever, everything goes black. *** Murp and Merp soon learn that most of Murp’s power resided in its paws; being nothing more than a head, the two are now stranded on Earth until they can find a way off. There will be no more visits to the Andromeda Galaxy or its library, no more exploring places humans can’t reach. Now Murp and Merp roam the world, searching for a way out they’ll never find. Along the way, they collect and eat everything they find; if a singular sock or pen goes missing, odds are the two have been through. They hide in the shadows, staying away from human eyes—and with good reason. Every time humans see them, they try to capture them and use them for money; every time that happens, Merp manages to take control of Murp and Merp’s shared head and…well…let’s just say those humans won’t be bothering anyone ever again.
