It was night. Streaks of ebony and dark royal colors painted the sky, radiating a quiet and soothing feel. Quinn stared upon the sparkling stars, casting a looming silhouette upon her as she remembered her mission: Restore tranquility. For being a celestial being was no easy task, her orb was the only way to communicate between Kinterria and her home in the stars. She spawned in a vast field that was now her temporary home. She trudged along the meadow, wondering where to start, there must've been a reason /she/ was chosen for this mission. Lost in thought, she was sauntering, no real destination. A war was destroying the whole of Kinterria, and the flora and fauna was being burned down. Concentrating, she flashed her orb. "To commander Astrid, I have spawned in a barren field, no flowers, trees, just unending grass. I'm not sure where to start." she admitted. Her orb illuminated as it glided around. "We see you, for we may spectate you and your current position." Quinn nodded. "Thank you. Where should I go?" Astrid responded, "Past Lumina Valley and through the town of Unity, possibly damaged by the war. If you forge your way far enough, you will find the fabled moon flowers. They have been granted the power to glow with radiance, to uplift spirits, and restore peace." Quinn shuffled her wings, her feathers glowing by the soft shimmer of the moon. "Mk. Thank you." she gracefully thanked. For three days and nights, she glided across the limitless terrain. She was a silent shadow sneaking in the night sky. Soaring above countless scenes of battles she suffered through clenched jaws, expressions in raw pain, laying still. Slowly flapping her wings, she was careful to find fresh water to quench herself. Then she eventually found Lumina Valley, on top of it was a stream of spring water. Her body aching, she descended into the stream. Her paws softly landed on the thin grass. She passed across as she approached the spring. As she consumed the water, she rested, the sun dawning on a new day. "Commander Astrid, I made it to Lumina Valley of the Kinterria planet, mission number 884. Up ahead I see the village of Unity. Most of it is debris, but some structures seem to have withstand, or have been rebuilt, a recent battle's impact. I will rest here at the valley, for there is fresh water. I will hopefully leave at sunset. -Quinn." Her orb dimmed. She wasn't expecting an immediate response, for she new The Order, the only force keeping all universes from ending themselves, were busy. Her best friend and boss was Astrid, which is why she was appointed to this task. Quinn stretched her wings, hoping not to be soar as she settled for a much needed nap. She hadn't slept 70 hours. As she curled in a ball, she tucked in her tail and wings as her orb zoomed into her graceful paws. She slowly fluttered her eyes closed as the world turned to black. "Hello? Miss?" A nubby paw briskly jabbed her. "Huh? Wha..? Astrid?" As Quinn's vision adapted to the bright sun, she saw a young, cerulean wolf standing on top of her. His face was softly chiseled to give a friendly, yet respectable effect. "Hello!" the wolf said. "What are you doing, sleeping on a valley?" he was a toddler, happily scampering around. His eyes were deep umber with accents of milky white and navy blue. "..Um well..." /Should I tell him the truth?/ Quinn sighed. "I was sent to... end the war...basically. It's a bit more complicated." Quinn stated. The wolf blinked. "I'm Sol!" he yipped. "Quinn. Nice to meet you." Sol smiled. "What are /you/ doing here alone?" Quinn changed the subject quickly to avoid further questioning. "I'm here to collect fresh water for my town, Unity." his eyes shadowed with grief, "It's struggling to prosper after the war came and struck. Most of us are sick and wounded. Since I'm young, I was sent to fetch a drink." He showed Quinn his buckets. Suddenly sorry for Sol, she offered to help. His expression brightened up a little bit. "Thanks." As they headed down the valley and into the village they ended up knowing each other more. Eventually becoming friends. Eventually
