Jace was an orphan who ran away from his foster home. After some time on the streets, he met Death Watch and was taken in by Bo-Katan and Pre Vizsla. During his first week as a Mandalorian, he fought Obi-Wan Kenobi. He witnessed Pre Viszla's defeat and grew a hatred for Jedi. After Maul have taken over as leader, Jace allied himself with Bo-Katan to defeat him. Jace wanted Maul to pay for the death of Pre Vizsla. After Bo-Katan denied Jace of facing Maul, Jace disobeyed her and went off to fight Maul. After Sidious left Maul hurt and in pain, Jace confronted Maul. The two battled, leaving Maul's lightsaber and legs broken. Maul's forces attacked Jace and Jace retreated, grabbing the Darksaber on the way out. Bo-Katan was furious at Jace defying orders. Jace never used the Darksaber, for it would cause a dilemma to his team. When Bo-Katan recruited Ahsoka Tano to help bring down Maul, Jace was highly against it. However, he went along with it and they soon won. After a year or so, the Purge happened and Jace went into hiding. He soon came back out as a bounty hunter. He hunted down numerous times for the Empire, taking down multiple rebels and enemies to the Empire. He even helped bring in Luminara Unduli, a famous Jedi master. This earned the attention, and the affections of Barris Offee, now known as the seventh sister. However, the Emperor forbid the sister from seeing Jace. They continued seeing each other in secret, until she broke it off when he didn't reveal his face to her at all. He continued to bounty hunt for the Empire. He was soon hired for the Empire again to take down a rogue clone, nicknamed Rogue.
