"DO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID THAT WAS?" Ivy's father yelled. Ivy rolled her eyes, twisting a strain of her white hair around her pale finger. She had heard this lecture a couple million times. "YOU COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED! YOU"RE MY ONLY HEIR!" She sighed. "I didn't get killed. I have never come close to any sort of severe injury." she said, calmly, her voice sounding bored. "What about that time you broke your arm, when you fell from that tree?" Alvar replied. Ivy glared at her guard. "That was an exception," she mumbled. Her father stepped forward. "Ivy, that's not an excuse. You are grounded for the next week AND you have to attend that ball on Saturday." Ivy shot to her feet. "But DAD-" He cut her off. "No if, ands, or buts. You will do as I say. Go to your room." Ivy glared at her father, before storming to her room, throwing her tiara to her desk in a huff. "Stupid rules...stupid kingdom...stupid royalty." she muttered, laying on her bed. Alvar followed her into her room, chuckling slightly. "GET OUT!" she growled. He did as told, shutting the door, yet she knew she was out there...guarding...keeping bad people out...and keeping her in.
