Story: ______________________________________ Henry had just gotten a job at McDonald’s and wanted to tell his mother about it. Henry opened the door and ran to his mother. “Mom! I just got a job!” His mother, Laura, didn’t care in the slightest. “Good, now I don’t have to cook for you, your no longer an imbecile” She said in an irritated tone. “Im sick of this! No matter what I do you can’t be proud of me!” said Henry as he stomped off to his room. He slammed the door. “That ungrateful little brat, why couldn’t I have had a girl” mumbled Laura to herself. Henry could hear his mother, though she did not know that. Henry started packing a bag, he was getting out of this wretched place. He had had enough. He waited for the night to come, so that he could leave and not get caught. He called his friend Brody and Brody was on his way. “Any minute now” Henry whispered to himself happily. Brody knocked on the door, Laura was asleep and Henry was getting out of here. “Goodbye place that I will never call home” Henry said as he walked out the door. _____________________________________________
