ᵘⁿᵗⁱᵗˡᵉᵈ story ♡︎ chapter ˢⁱˣ “Gabby!” Erin snaps his fingers In my face. “Gabby, are you listening to me?” I shake my head. Obviosuly I wasn´t. Erin sighs. “I asked if you want to help me Pick out what I’m going to put in my closet.” I nod, and he walks over to Hohenzollern clothe racks. I look back at the boy I was looking at. Not that he’s cute or anything— Who am I kidding, of course he’s cute— But that book he’s reading, It’s kind of familiar. “Anyway, should I buy this dark blue zip-up, Or this black zip up?” I look at Eren, who is holding up the two sweaters. I think for a moment. “Well, you see I like both but I’d like them more If they were oversized. You know how much I love oversized.” We laugh. “You know what? I actually think I might buy both. But they must Be oversized, obviously. Also, Mom said you can het whatever you want, She said to consider its birthday present.” xxxxxxxxxxxx We get back into the car, Erin’s mom up front And Erin and I in the back. Erin has two full bags of clothes, And I have just one bag. Not of clothes, but of books. Funny story, actually. So we realized when we were about to leave the thrift store That There was a book store. I’m pretty sure it was called “The book nook” but that doesn’t matter. I got like, five books. Some of them are from my favorite authors. I got Bridge to Terabithia, I heard it makes you cry at the end. But I probably won’t cry. I mean, please. I’ve read about ten sad stories out ten sad stories And I haven’t cried for any. (A/n: #slay fr fr) “So, what books did you get?” Erin asks me. I look over at him. “Oh, I got Bridge to Terabithia.” He gasps (very dramatically, if you ask me). “When you’re done reading that one, Can I borrow it?” I laugh. “Sure, but when I’m done, I Barely got it today.” xxxxxxxxxxxx "Gabriela, mija." Eden's mother says. "Do you want some ice cream, or do you want to have a sleep over with Eden?" Eden smiles ear to ear. "Yeah, my mom texted your mom, and she agreed you could. Well, if you want." I look over at her. "I- I'm actually kind of really tired. Would you mind if I go home?" Eden's smile disappears. He looks down. His mom frowns, too. "Oh, well. Okay, dear. I'll tell your mom. I bet she's still awake." xxxxxxxxxxxxxx I open the car door and hop out. "Uhm, well, goodbye, Eden." I say. "Bye," Eden mumbles. "I'll see you in a this monday." Wait, what does he me-- "Wait, this Monday?" I shout. "I thought- I forgot spring break is done. Mrs. Tobins
