~The full timeline~ 1928: Psuedoma's base is made. 1929: Launch is done. 1930: Upper decks are completed. 1932: The ship is finished. 1933: The first maiden voyage is completed successfully. 1935: Psuedoma is given the award for fastest ship. 1939: World war 2 starts. 1945 May 14th 1:02: The Psuedoma is cruising in the deep ocean, when suddenly, the lookouts spot a huge torpedo go straight towards the ship. Hamelin Mormon, one of the lookouts says "TORPEDO! STARBOURD!" The captain, Albert Damberg, hears this, and, in an attempt to escape, goes full speed ahead, which is a total of 35 knots. But unfortunately, is not fast enough. The ship strikes the torpedo right where the safety features are. Opening all the watertight doors, and stopping the pumps. The ship is doomed. 1:07: Already, E-deck is flooding. There is a considerable head trim, being about 2 degrees, and a 3 degree list. Damberg orders the lifeboats to be filled, and launched. 1:12: E-deck has flooded. The Ships musicians begin to play Beethoven's sympathies. Only being able to play the 2nd, 5th, and 9th symphony. 2 out of the 6 would later survive. The ship's propellers are out of the water. 1:22: The sinking has slowed considerately. The Monstarbor, a passenger ship, heard the Psuedoma's distress calls and comes to help. D-deck is halfway flooded. 1:27: The sinking has sped up again. D-deck has flooded. Under the pressure of a single rope holding it, the forward mast snaps back and hits the funnel. Breaking a window in the bridge and causing the funnel to weaken (which would do something later). 1:32: Half of the eight lifeboats have been filled, lowered, and launched. All with full capacity. About 147 people remain on the Psuedoma. 1:39: As soon as water comes up onto the bow and touches the fallen mast, it falls onto the deck, and into the ocean. 1:42: The last lifeboat launched during the sinking, is launched. Three lifeboats will go down with the ship. Panic and hell unfolds as passengers go to full alert. 1:47: From the forward mast falling and hitting the only funnel, the funnel has weakened so much that it falls. The top part of the funnel separates from the bottom and falls into the sea. 1:49: At a high angle (about 30 degrees), the fallen funnel slides of the deck. Hitting two people and a collapsible lifeboat. One person died and the collapsible lifeboat got crushed. 1:50: At about 45 degrees, the stress in the middle of the boat causes the wood to split and break apart.... 1:50:30: ...Which makes the ship split into two. metal and all. 1:51: Jordan Kendalf, a 2nd class passenger, was drunk at the time. Before the ship split, he was seen smoking a cigar, holding the chair with his foot to stabilize. When the ship split, Kendalf accidently dropped his lighter, which was flaming, onto the ground. This caused a huge fire. Unfortunately, at the same time, the impact from the split caused the mast to fall... right where Kendalf dropped the lighter. Kendalf miraculously survived from being in flames and being crushed. He was arrested when he came back to shore. 1:52: As the stern slowly sank, the fire grew. It almost came to the end of the ship. But.... 1:53: When water extinguishes the fire, the upper decks have already collapsed. The mast is also burnt to a crisp. 1:53:30: At a 47 degree angle, the remains of the mast falls. And the ship stops listing. 1:53:48: And the ship goes down from there. 1:54: The ship finally sinks.
Please wait :) It takes 52 minutes to sink. You can leave your computer and come back later! My real time experience!
