midi from https://onlinesequencer.net/3225067 hi, and welcome to rox makes a stupid thing again. i was bored and wanted to make something, so i did. but i actually have things to say about this one. so the feel i wanted for this one is a narrative song that tries and always fails to pick up. it's not meant to mirror the sans fight exactly - i was aiming for sort of a sadder, more emotion-riddled version of megalovania. he really doesn't want to fight you. the beginning is the start of the sans fight (burn in hell, et cetera et cetera). just as the guitar starts to kick in, the song interrupts itself with the piano section, which is meant to be his first monologue, as he questions your actions. the orchestral melody kicks in as he talks about his own actions ("is that just a poor excuse for being lazy?") and the trombone appears during the repeat of the melody as he attacks. the slow bell starts as he tires himself out, wishing he were literally anywhere else. the lead begins again as he gives you the choice to spare him, and then...! the guitar comes back with a vengeance as you enter the second phase of the fight. at this point sans starts talking about you ('before all this, i was secretly hoping...') as he pulls out all the stops. the lead comes back as he loses hope. again, it's worth noting that i didn't make this to be an exact representation of the sans fight. take it as you will. maybe it's an 'alternate universe'. theres a few chiptune presets in there as well :3 thats the end of todays episode, tune in next time for bombs for throwing at you analysis
