The Cyclone has slammed my area, and the doors at my school have been covered in sand bags and is closed. My grandparents haven't got sand bags over their garage door. They're house flood badly a while ago. My family has moved the rubbish bins away from where they sit to clear any coming water. We have our motorhome ready with water in the tank etc, if the power goes out. This cyclone is honestly brutal, my cousins are having serious issues already where they are. Thank goodness that the council fixed the drain beside the creek next to us. It once had chicken mesh which caught up all the leaves, and when it rained badly... caused or whole driveway and shed to flood, almost knee-deep. The garden is begining to flood, it's too late for a few plants. One is already submerged. I'm prepared. It has rained non stop for over 24 hours.
Update: It is 5:00AM in the morning and my driveway is begining to flood... 7:22AM: The river might burst, my family and I are getting ready to evacuate. The shed and garage are easily going to flood. Despite our house being over a meter off the ground, there is still a large risk; if the river bursts it's bank that it will flood.
