Hey all. I took a lot of time editing this and tried my best to cut down the dialogue but it was important. So, yeah First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/795451719/ Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/795451719/ Next: not yet Blurb: "Legend says that if you breathe in and out ten times in front of a mirror something strange happens." My friend had whispered under her breath daring me to test the legends. On All Hollow's Eve or course. Now I’m stuck in a world full of legends coming true. And I have a group of friends helping me to get home. But how come it doesn't happen to everyone? How come I was special enough to get pulled into this world? Did I even belong at my so-called home?
It's not as scary as the music =D really just a fantasy. Cʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 2 “Hello? Oh god; I hope she’s alive.” I heard a girl talking to herself frantically. My eyes were still adjusting, but one thing I did notice was the throbbing pain in my ribcage. Suddenly, everything came back to me. That shadow had pulled me into the mirror. I sat up instantly and then winced at the pain that shot through me. “Geez, you know it wouldn’t be very smart to sit up that quickly when you almost die.” The frantic girl teased. I opened my eyes and turned towards to voice. A girl was sitting next to me on her knees, and she had piercing green eyes with the palest skin I had ever seen. Her hair was the perfect contrast to her skin; it was dark and flowy down past her shoulders. She was wearing a black flowy dress with tiny magenta glittery stars scattered across like a galaxy that stopped right above her knees; it had mesh sleeves. She had on a round pair of glasses that complimented her face. She also wore a black pair of fashionable combat boots with a pair of magenta socks showing at the top. “Who are you?” I asked. “Your savior. With the way you are staring at me, I wonder if you are trying to read me” She said. “What does that mean? Who are you? Where am I?” I asked frantically. “Take a chill pill, and drink some water.” She said handing me a canteen. “Okay but only if you answer my questions,” I said. She nodded. “Introductions first,” She started, “My name is Fay Mediocris. I am 16, and I am a citizen of the town Speculum Fabulae. In other words, legends mirror. Welcome to Mundus Fabularum. Never mind the reading thing. Okay your turn, tell me why you were floating in the pool of nightmares.” “Okay, my name is Cian Mary Solis. I’m 15” I paused coughing up water from my lungs leaving my throat sore. “I - Don’t know why I fell into the mirror. It never actually happened to anyone else. It was just a legend.” I said staring at the grass. I noticed I was wearing a maroon dress that was artfully torn at the bottom right above my knees. I wore black combat boots like Fay but I had pink socks showing over the top. I wore what resembled an army jacket but it was pastel pink instead. I felt my blonde hair; It was pulled back into my normal half up half down but with framing in the front. “How did you find me?” I asked. “I was just passing by for my nightly stroll-” “So you walk by a lake that makes screaming and moaning noises at night?”I questioned. “I,” she paused for a moment, “Yes. Anyways I thought the pool of nightmares sounded weird. It was almost different. I looked over and saw you floating in the exact center with a Warped Moon Tentacle wrapped around your torso. So I did what my gut told me to do; I jumped into the lake and untangled you from the Moon Tentical which was pretty much dead. I brought you to shore and realized you weren’t breathing, so I gave you CPR. I wasn't going to let you die!” Fay explained. “Well, that's why my ribcage burns.” I noted. Fay nodded in agreement. I yawned. “Look we need to get you some rest. Waking up from almost dying is hard work. C’mon, I’m going to take you to my house. I’m sure Mother won’t mind.” She said helping me up and leading me down a path toward what looked like a tall grass and corn maze. “Please tell me you know the way,” I begged to hope for the best.
