Hey Guys! Scratch - I was introduced to it back in secondary school. That must be at least 5 years ago now. And, well, here I am. October 5, 2015 - and I'm back! You know, I really do like the Online Editor and the new, improved blocks. I like them a lot. Anyways, this here's d.K B.a.s.i.c - v.1.0, I guess you can call it a pilot project. The name just occured to me at some point, don't be irritated by it. --- --- --- [About] --- --- --- d.K B.a.s.i.c is some sort of, I guess rather generic, shooter. It is very plain and simplistic and not gory in any way, and while I intend to make the project more complex as it goes, it won't become anyhow gory either. Now, I will release each update to this project as its own "file", instead of updating this one. Hence the "- v.1.0"-extention! In addition, these projects will then be gathered in their respective studio. Why? Well, yeah. I'd like to be able to look back at this project myself, and others to be ablo to look back at this project too - to see the changes and developments over time. --- --- --- [v.1.0 Content] --- --- --- As of right now, d.K doesn't feature anything special. - this one very room that you are spawned in - a crate you can destroy in order to obtain the 1st weapon - a first weapon, fully fledged - a couple of dummies to shoot at More features, more complex detail & level design will come in future updates - stay tuned! --- --- --- [Controls] --- --- --- [W] - move forward [S] - move backwards [Space] - interact with highlighted object (requires you to be in close range, does not work on items.) [LMB] - fire selected weapon [1] - select 1st weapon (technically doesn't do anything yet, the weapons is auto-selected.) --- --- --- I do hope you will come back for future updates! Also, follow up in the studio if you like! ~ Aethas
--- --- --- [Credits] --- --- --- - mwiemann - who found a solid solution to the wall collision issue. Solid. Get it? Solid walls. - Davey Wreden - The Beginner's Guide is pretty twisted, I think, but thought provoking. It kind of led me back here, I guess.
