“My husband. He left with NO notice! Now i’m left with Darby and Shelly? What am I supposed to do? I can barley pay rent! Its so-“ Chelsea rambled on, with an expression of both anger and sadness. We both broke into a terrible fit of laughter, which was quite embarrassing in the middle of the grocery store. “We are being normal people today. I love being normal people.” I smiled, piling different ice creams in my cart. “Normal people who bug cameras to go through their recordings and find a ser!al kvller?” Chelsea challenged. Another fit of laughing (more like cackling) exploded, which gained us a few dirty looks from judgmental moms. “We should soo get the pizza stuffed egg rolls!” Chelsea said with a fake smile, shoving the cold box towards my face. I rolled my eyes at her while she proceeded to put it in her cart, and we went to checkout. My phone rang, and Chelsea immediately took it out of my hands as soon as I picked it up. "I'll take this." She mouthed while walking towards outside. I watched her face through the window. Annoyance, than shock. Genuine, Chelsea, oh-my-gosh-no-freaking-way shock. She bolted inside, and a bunch of words flew out of her mouth. I caught very little but nodded anyways. "You have nothing to say? There's a new person. In our house. I don't know anything about him! Victor is not a good person to get details from. What if he's part of the freaking mafia? He could have a part time job making deals with Pab-" "Seriously Chelsea. It's going to be fine." To be honest, it wasn't really fine. A complete stranger was going to be living in our house. Chelsea briskly paid for groceries, bolted out of the door, scanned a subway card the fastest i've ever seen, and we were at our front door.
