Spam the flag! [TRIGGER WARNING] - themes of drug abuse - (there will be) character death - tobacco depictions My fingers hurt like hell, but its still not finished... Anyways, I'm still very proud of this! The story: Woody, the walrus boy, has known Eleanor since grade school. At first, they were friends, playing together at the playground every day, doing normal things that young schoolchildren do. Eventually, they drifted apart and didn't talk anymore. Thus begins the main story. Woody and Eleanor are now both 16 and have started to see each other at school again, and Woody seems to have gotten a little attached. So has Ellie, but she won't say it. Months pass, and they start to see each other more and more, having picnics and seeing movies and such, but not much more than that. Woody has joined the "Happy Fools" band as bassist, and wants Ellie to join in. Yarrow, the lead guitarist, has known Ellie since she was a young child, as he was her babysitter for much of her childhood. However, they aren't very close. Yarrow has become an idiot druggie, and Eleanor knows better than to hang around with him. Yarrow ends up overdosing and accidentally killing himself, and these two are left with a broken band and an empty place in their hearts. Woody asks Eleanor to take Yarrow's place as guitarist, and after a moment of hesitation, she agrees. So here we are. That's pretty much the whole plot of "Fool's Music", but there is a lot of plot development underneath the main plot, such as the relationship between Aster (the "Happy Fools" drummer) and Chicory, (the keyboard/pianist).
