One part of language fluency is speed. How fast can you think of the words that you need to express yourself? These words might seem easy but they are also easy to forget, at least when it comes to speaking. Swedish is not a difficult language, but it's only spoken by a few million people. The USA, in comparison, has more than 300 million people. I created this project to help myself remember some words. It's not exactly the most fun, but it's not a boring game either. Some people say, why learn a language when you already know English? First of all, I think that it's good for you to learn a foreign language. It helps you improve in your native language. But I also think that language connects people, and it would be a shame if we all spoke the same language. There would be something lost. The hardest thing about Swedish is not only a lack of resources but also pronunciation. This project doesn't help with that, but whatever I guess. You can even learn Swedish now if you guess randomly enough!
