these AUs are just about media I like that appear in my head rent free mwahaha- shhhhh don't judge me please -- rewrite/unnamed WoF AU (spoilers for everything lol) --- all tribes are more unique/changed: -- mudwings are crocidilan and amphibian- houses are generally somewhat underwater. They're shorter, and they can bubble breath like anole lizards. Super big though, biggest tribe. there are specific areas of the place that sibling groups will live in if an albino is born (shade, nearby scale/skin treatment) -- skywings have really big wings, are more like their canon appearance. Their mouths are more beaklike, and they have some feathers, specifically on their backs and wings, can be on their bellies and tails. they live in platforms and caves. Naturally a little bit aggressive compared to other dragons. -- sandwings are based off of bearded dragons and scorpions. Spikier, smaller, thinner scales. Most like canon appearance. They are flatter, more wide, like a bearded dragon. Very good at hiding. -- icewings are more wolf-like. fur and scale combo. Spikes are along the back and thin out at the end of the tail. Stockier, more regal. Horns can be almost any shape. -- seawings look different based on where they are from. Deep sea seawings are usually similar to deep sea critters (Anglers, pelican mouths, etc.) royalty is jellyfish-seawings. Ocean surfaces are whales, swordfish, and sharks. Rivers are generally bass or large river fish. Ponds exist, very rare, minnows. Super small. -- rainwings are based off of poison dart frogs and amphibians. Super scary, skilled assassins if they had developed that way culturally. Can change colors at will like usual. More aquatic and low to the ground, generally sleep under rocks and such. Very small. Skilled tree climbers too. -- nightwings are based off of komodo dragons, olm and bats. Blind, generally live in caves. Long, darkly colored. Strong senses, Little 'frills' on the head, ears are little holes. Somewhat fragile. - the DoD were raised in a small area that combined their habitats. A few mudwings, nightwings, skywings, seawings and sandwings taught them about culture geography, etc. but primarily Webs, Kestrel and Dune did. They were outside technically, but not allowed to leave until 10. Had a much better life, and got caught by Scarlet due to the Talons starting to be a litter careless with hiding location. - Kestrel was still a jerk - Webs was a dad-like figure to Tsunami - Dune was more distant and watchful. He was sending letters to Sunny's mom in hopes that she might forgive him. - when they got caught, they were forced to fight for Scarlet for a number of years. They escaped just barely, with the assistance of Peril who was getting lessons on how to be less clingy from the local therapist - Scarlet was way scarier, she had huge horns, wore jewelry that was used in her battles, and she'd never lost a fight (so far) - Glory was not taught rainwing culture because they were super secluded from the world- no one could even enter their territory, so it was highly unknown if it was solely rain forest (spoiler alert: it's not) - secret group of mercenaries that only armies knew about until the rainwings became an open kingdom (ruled by Glory's mom, Salamander, who left for adventure). These guys were always hired to do secret assassinations or recruited for war temporarily. ------ One Piece AU - in which problems occur (spoilers for summit war saga and up) - Ace dies a much slower death, and as Luffy escapes they are brought on the same ship. - after the whole timeskip, which is changed to 3 years, turns out the fake straw hats are secretly government agents looking to stop rookies and such - Blackbeard is like AFTER Luffy it's crazy. Actively looking for him. Idk, I don't know why he wants Luffy's fruit quite yet. Let me think - stuff goes by normally until the end of Dressrosa when Blackbeard shows up, and he’s like ‘MUGIWARA NA LUFFY IMA KILL YOUUU’ - the straw hats are like, Luffy, we should run, but Luffy punches Blackbeard a few times before everyone’s just like ‘STOP’ ------
