Yay! Nano's Story is finally out with so many new features, you must make sure to check out the game guide for any help! Check Notes and Credits for Game Guide _______________________________________________________ You play as Nano, a scratcher off to a new start. Choose what Job and skills they have, choose their friends, choose their fate. It's a life simulation game where you can do whatever you want; all in your hands!
Game Guide How To Play: Nano's Story uses a similar point and click style similar to the sims. You just move your mouse to an object/character/place you would like to go, click it, and choose a choice from the pie menu. With the pause button, you can freely press the red stop button or use the normal pause button and freeze the game, and when you press the play button (not the green flag), you will continue where you left off with everything the same apart from most actions. Actions are the little boxes in the top left corner which tell you what Nano is doing. For most actions, you can simply click on the box to cancel it. Others you can't and they will still continue even if you pause it. Needs are shown as green bars that will decrease and turn red overtime. You need to fill them up by doing the right things to support it. For example, to fill up the hunger bar you need to cook food from the fridge. —————————————————————————— Death: + Death By Satelite There is a 10% chance for death by satelite to occur when standing outside doing nothing with no interruptions for a long time. It's really a death that is almost impossible to do by accident. + Death By Flies There is a small chance that if you make Nano stand next to dirty dishes for a few seconds with your hygiene low, flies will swarm Nano and eat them. Like death by Satelite, it is almost impossible to do by accident. + Death By Fire A fire can start if you cancel the action at the oven and don't go back to it when the food is finished. If you don't extinguish the fire or you walk into it, then you will die instantly. + Death By Electrocution If Nano tries to repair a broken stereo with 0-1 mechanical skill, Nano will die instantly. It's best to level up your mechanical skill to avoid this as there is no warning before repairing it about your certain doom. + Death By Starvation If you don't feed Nano and the Hunger bar goes down to 0, then Nano will die of starvation. + Death By Disease If Nano gets sick from eating bad food or low hygiene, and you don't buy the medicine within a day, Nano will die of Disease. It will have the same animation as hunger. —————————————————————————— Relationships: Relationships can be managed over the phone by using the “call Someone” choice. On this menu you can choose to either just talk to gobo, or invite them round. Depending on your relationship levels, two different choices will appear. Talking with Gobo makes your relationship go up, when it reaches 8+ you can use a new interaction with gobo. Arguing with Gobo makes your relationship go down. When it reaches below 3 you will also unlock a new interaction with Gobo. After a while at your house Gobo will leave. —————————————————————————— Money & Work: Money is a main part of Nano's Story as it is required to preform lots of different interactions with objects/things you can buy. To earn money, you need to get a job. To find a job, just use the phone and select “find a job”. You will start off as Level 1 in your job. Occasionally you will get small dilemma's requiring you to make a choice that could effect Nano's career and skill points. It can vary from getting you an extra cooking point to even getting you fired! To earn a promotion you must look underneath the job description for what skill level is required to rank up to the next career level. At the end of the day, if all is well and you have got to those skill levels, then you should receive a notification telling you that Nano has earned a promotion! Once the required skill level has disappeared from the work panel, that means you are at the top of your career and can not be promoted any more. When it is time for you to go to work you will be asked if you would like to attend work or not. Missing 2 days of work in a row will result in an instant fire from your job. This is the only way to quit your job. —————————————————————————— Needs: Needs are what keep Nano happy and alive.. If they are all mostly green then they're okay. If they are mostly red then you should definitely fill them up before you face any consequences. If a need is low, Nano will complain about that need with a thought bubble of what they want. This way, you can get reminded before it's too late if you have forgotten to look at the needs panel. Each need and how to fill them up: Hunger - Hunger can be filled up by cooking some food with the fridge in the kitchen, pressing on the counter top where the food is placed and eating it. Bladder - Bladder can be filled up by using the toilet in the bathroom/bedroom. Hygiene - Hygiene can be filled up by using the shower in the bathroom/bedroom. Energy - Energy can be filled up by using the bed in the bathroom/bedroom. Fun - Fun can be filled up by: Reading a book. Being in a room with music playing. Using a telescope. Calling Someone. Talking to Gobo.
