On the day of the winter solstice (also @BitBoing’s birthday), I shared my fourth rhythm game (my second FINISHED one, to be specific), Rhythm Prism 3, after the first one, and both versions of the second one. One of the main features was a lightshow inspired by Beat Saber. You may have noticed that most of the Beat Saber lightshows include a wave visualizer based on the loudness. I tried to make that in my first attempt at a lightshow engine (see my project “Skystrike [L]”), but it seemed so different from the real version. In Lights3.0w, I had removed these visualizing bars entirely, because once I had finished the lightshows for the first few songs from Rhythm Prism 3 (which uses the same engine as “All I Need [L]”), I wasn’t really using the bars. So I decided to make a 3D pen visualizer that I might add to Rhythm Prism 3 if I ever get the chance.
