- - + - - ! RIGHT, I'M NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANIMAL DERIVED CHARACTERS! TRS!LUNA, TRS!WENDY, TRS!LAGGY, AND TRS!CELERY ARE THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS, THANK YOU AND GOOD NIGHT ! ( this is because they are supposed to be almost impossible, and there are already more animal derived characters than human ones, so unless you’ve been given permission by me or a mod, please don’t ) Everything you need to know about the Chaos States dystopian AU, aka "The Ruined States" AU. 1. ) It takes place after the nuclear destruction of the surface, meaning resources are scarce, and animals/humans are scarcer. 2. ) The main two living species that survived are humans and Softlings. 3. ) Softlings are immune to nuclear radiation or something, and began populating the earth after the dawn of the ruin era. 4. ) All of the chaos states are located in Canada, but because none of the survivors know where they are, they all assumed they were elsewhere, explaining the names of their states. 5. ) One of the reasons behind some people’s hatred towards Softlings is that they think the connection between the fall of humanity and the rise of Softlings is not a coincidence. 6. ) The radiation left behind was very odd, and resulted in humans obtaining mutations, such as gills, wings, horns, fur, etc. The animals that survived (on a SLIM CHANCE) also mutated. Some gaining more humanoid forms, others becoming “Monsters” as some might call them. 7. ) Any survivors of the fall of humanity were either out at sea, on a plane, in a bunker, etc. 8. ) Since there are a variety of toxic chemicals in the air, most people wear filtered masks. It is not a requirement, though it just puts them at more risk than it's worth not to wear them. 9. ) Very few animals survived, and pretty much all of them mutated. Animal mutations range from monster to anthro, with the monster variation being A LOT more common. Animals are basically unheard of, though, so it's a wonder when one appears. ( I’ll be adding things as I come up with them, so make sure to check back every now and then! ) - - - TO MAKE A CHARACTER YOU MUST: 1. ) Be the leader/member of one chaos state, and include which one that is in your ref. Available states to join can be found listed in the “era of ruins” studio! (Note: if you REALLY don’t want to join a state, that’s fine, just tell me your character is going to be a loner! ^^) 2. ) A s k , unless you’re on the list of known characters already. Or you’re Lagonish. 3. ) Include a realistic backstory, complete with how they survived, etc. 4. ) Add a D&D alignment, lol. 5. ) Make a detailed ref, with full color please. 6. ) Please do NOT make them animal derived, and be certain you read the lore first. !
