goofy ahh thumb art style Note: I will be finishing my current MAP parts, please don’t drop me! ___ Hey there. This is a message I've been meaning to write for a long time, but I've been postponing it and postponing it because I love this place and it really hurts to leave it behind. But basically, I'm going to begin leaving Scratch from here on out. The game plan is to finish the current parts I owe and then fully move to YouTube (with a big fat asterisk here, see below for more info ^^"). (As well as finish the Rat MAP, ofc). Now, as for why. Scratch has meant a lot to me, it's where I first learned to animate and I made my first ever MAP part on this platform. However, sadly, there's only so much you can do with it, and I'm at the point where if I don't move on I don't think I can continue to grow in my animations. On top of this, censoring on the platform is tough - and I understand why, the Scratch team NEEDS to be tough, it's a kid's platform. All this is to say though, I can't post a lot of OC stuff and projects I really want to work on because it will get taken down. I have already been kind of pushing it with some of the stuff I've done recently, and since my Hayloft II part got taken down I've become more acutely aware of the limits. Lastly, I'm just starting to outgrow this platform in general. I'm going on 17 this year, and Scratch is really meant for younger audiences. This isn't to say people my age or older shouldn't be here, and if you are, that's totally fine! Just for me, personally, I feel a bit old to be here. xD With that said though, I won't completely abandon this account! I'll still be "around" to talk to some of the folks here, and I can give tips if anyone wants them as well, I just won't really be posting. AND NOW, the asterisk: while yes, I am leaving, I may still join some MAPs from people I've done work for in the past. To name specifically, those like @TinyTansy and @-StellarLights-. I've been waiting for Gretel to come out for a while now, and still plan to try to participate if I can, we will have to see. These are some exceptions though, and I won't really be joining anything else, so please do not invite me to anything. But yeah </3. All that said, I probably won't be gone for another month or so at least as I wrap up what I have, this is just letting y'all know in advance.
