- today during lunch, my friends and i planned to go to the mall after school. after school, my friends brother picked us all up. we were at the mall for a few hours, until i noticed my mom asked where i was. i told her i went for a walk (big fat lie) and shrugged it off. my mom soon got worried, and demanded to know exactly where i was. i decided to partly tell her the truth, and say that i was at the mall, but alone. she was shocked, because it would be very hard to walk from my house to that mall. she told me to start walking back home, and i told her that i would. but i was having so much fun with my friends, i decided to stay. around an hour later, my mom was bombarding me with calls and texts, and i knew i had to leave. i paid for my stuff, and as i was leaving the mall, my mom said she called the police and that she had filed a missing persons report for me. i got scared, and eventually found her. now im sitting at home, writing this paragraph, telling whoever is reading this that you should not do the dumb thing i did. this experience was extremely scary and i would not like this to happen to anyone else. thank you for reading.
