A new island was discovered; located in the middle of the Atlantic, and quite visible from satellites (though almost always obscured by clouds), an undiscovered and unowned piece of land was crossed by accident. On top of this, special friends are back! The dinosaurs, which were miraculously shielded from the impact of the asteroid which hit earth millions of years ago. However, these scaly friends are not completely how we remember them. Once a part of Pangea, dinosaurs from many different time periods had sought homage to this part of the continent, and when it broke off, the dinosaurs were forced to survive and contend with other dinosaurs that were descended from dinosaurs not quite in their time period. Forced to such conditions, many of them had to change (from either a little or a lot) to find a new niche. But of course, as 65 million years pass, they change even more. The Lost Isle has a very complex ecosystem, and while most dinosaurs here resemble their ancestors, none are the same they were before. 4th wall breaking time! This is where you come in! Make your own dinosaur species Lost Isle is mostly dominated by hadrosaurs, In order, here you go: Hadrosaurs - 29% Ceratopsian - 21% Small dromeasaurids - 15% Other/Un-classified Omnivore/herbivore species - 13% Sauropods - 7% Tyrannosaurids - 6% Spinosaurids - 5% Charcharodontosaurids - 4% Lost Isle is the size of Alaska, There is no apex predator, because life is so complex that none of them stay on top for long and seasonally get outcompeted. Make your dinosaur designs interesting! I wont press you to make perfectly accurate dinosaurs, because none of these dinosaurs are real. Think like fanmade dinosaurs. In fact, I encourage you to make ark-like, JP kind of designs (as long as they are still scientifically plausible) Y’all have fun or else >:(
