**my first actual project out of FIVE trashposts** ah hello! just started to be a kpop fan? don’t know any/some of the terms? this project is for u then! please lmk if some terms are missing and/or some of these aren't accurate, and i'll try to fix them ^^ bg music: omg - newjeans (sped up) ____ bias - favourite member(s) from a group ult - favourite group(s)/soloist(s) out of every group and/or soloist u stan ult bias - favourite bias(es) out of all ur biases fandom - the fan community of a group/soloist (you can't ult fandoms, but u can ult the group/soloist) pcs (aka photocards) - cards found in albums of a specific member from a group idol - a term used on general kpop stars debut - when a kpop group/soloist releases their first album and performs on stage for the first time maknae - the youngest member of a group comeback - when a group/soloist releases a new song (or an album) fan chant - fan chants are found in concerts. most of the time, fan chants occur on a dance break during a song, but at times, fan chants occur before the song starts. in fan chants, fans who are in the concert shout (full) names of each idol in a group. fan chants are also occurred when fans shout a lyric of the song. (bias) wrecker - a member of a group that catches a fan's attention even though that member isn't that fan's bias aegyo - a member of a group or a soloist expressing cute emotions and gestures. that idol uses a cute childish-like voice, and uses actions and gestures as well leader - a member of a group who is responsible for keeping the group in shape sub unit - smaller groups within a kpop group sasaengs - very -- and i mean VERY obsessive fans that are closer to stalkers visual - (a) member(s) of a group that are the most attractive in the group according to the korean beauty standards (every idol is beautiful/handsome, this term does not mean that the non-visuals are not beautiful/handsome nugu group - a group not really known in s. korea
