Whoever did this, was going to pay. The tears streamed down her hot face, as she stared down at her love. "I promised you, you promised me... You broke the promise..." her eyes got cloudy with tears again, as she looked down. "And I did, too." she whispered, Brook still laying in her lap. She was the only one still here, the only one, before Brook got buried. They. Will. Pay. She was determined to find who killed Brook, the only person who she had ever had feelings for, ever. She had taken off the cords, who had been so... evil? Electrocuted them, really? They had to be that brutal? And the medic.... She gripped Brook's wrist, the tears falling faster and faster. "Brook... I..." she had barely spoken for a while, just remembering the promise.. She promised she wouldn't die, and that she wouldn't let Brook die. She /broke/ their promise. She couldn't forgive herself. She wished to join Brook, in the heavens. She had moved in the past hours, from the electric box to the wall, which she now sat against, Brook in her arms. She looked at Brook's face, their face which had shown shock, their ice cold body. "I promised you..." she cried through gritted teeth, before taking Brook outside. She saw some people look at her as she carried Brook to the burial site, before walking back inside, curling up in a ball. "How could I be so careless...? I shouldn't have left t-their side." she hiccuped, she had become extremely tired from all the crying, but she couldn't stop. The tears just came, and came... There was no stop. "I did this. I did it all." She whispered, trying to look at the floor, but her vision just got cloudy again. She banged her head against her knees, the tears falling onto her leggings. She had never felt pain like this before... But it had hit her hard. Autumn just... it /hurt/ her. She hoped she was next. She just wanted to see Brook's beautiful face again, that glowed brighter than the sun, that was prettier than the prettiest pearl. Their burning gaze, and the way it made her heart flutter. She let out a light laugh, remembering their last conversation, but she quickly broke back down into tears. Many people had come to see if she was alright, though she felt no one cared. Why, oh why didn't they mourn Brook? They had just... gotten up! They hadn't cared! Her hand became a fist, she wished she was the killer. She would have kept Tulip, Gabe, and Brook, and just... Rid of the rest. She'd kill the Station Master first. Oh, how she hated him. That delusional.... She couldn't say such things in front of a young audience. Near her sat a pile of shredded paper, paper which she had brought with her for logging days, but it had all been destroyed as she had been going through an emotional roller coaster. She banged her head backwards and it hit the wall, but she didn't care. She just... Tears continued to stream down her face as she calmed down a bit, then remembering k.ss.ng Brook. She winced again, and the tears kept coming and coming. Autumn opened her eyes to see a blurry mess. All she could see was colors, and as she blinked again, it just got blurrier. She slammed her head against the wall again, making a loud noise. How could they?!! They killed her Brook!! She hiccuped again, she had to show up again some time. She wiped her cheeks, standing, walking out to the station-house porch. There she saw everyone else, doing their daily things, and she just stared, the most sad, angry expression ever. Naughty. It had to be, right? She looked around for Tulip, but here it came again.... She sat on the bench, curling up into a ball again, and another wave of tears hit her. This was an emotional time... Why no one else saw that was their problem. First Gabe, now Brook? Was the killer targeting her? Was she next? Somewhere inside of her, she hoped she was next. She hoped it was a much more painful death than Brook's. But, at the same time, she had to live on. For Brook. For Gabe. For Liam and Chessie. She had to live on for them all... No matter how hard it would be. Auttie took a couple deep breaths, looking up. "You will pay." •➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳••➳•• So yeah! Hope you enjoyed!!
