Here’s my entries! I did them both, if that’s okay. I drew them in my favorite style-anime, and drew the one with orange hair-(sun, I think?) in summer, and star, (dark hair) in winter. I had never seen these characters before so that’s why I don’t really know their names ;w; (press space or click the screen for next pic)
When I saw this DMC and the characters I had to draw, I had to think about it a bit. I didn’t really want mine to be a simple portrait or something like that. At first, I was thinking about doing night and day, since the stars are in night, and the sun in day, but I then decided to do Winter and Summer. One of these reasons were simply their looks, sort of showing the cold and warm colors, and another was that in winter, nights are longer, (more stars) and in summer, more sun. The last reason was sort of like a vibe I was getting. I don’t know much about their personalities, but from what it looks like, Sun is super open, but when she’s not happy, there’s a huge storm. That made me think summer, since it’s super warm and bright, but then there’s huge summer storms. Not much in the middle. Then Winter looked like everyone would think she’s weird, out of place, and quiet, but when you get to know her, everyone has fun, which made me think winter, since many people think bitterly of the cold, but when it snows…ahhhh.
