She shook her head, grumbling. "This is so much work...." Something glinted on her desk--the screen of her phone, flashing. Amber picked it up, turning on her phone and checking the screen for notications. One call from a Scam Likely number. She rolled her eyes and set her phone back down, turning back to a file she knew very well--the file of Harper Nightingale. Harper wasn't like some normal commoner--she was a princess, and direct descendant of the person herself who had created Serenity Academy. But Amber was the direct descendant of Celestine Helex, the woman who had created the Helex, Serenity Academy's greatest threat--in fact, probably the world's greatest threat. It seemed like Amber and Harper were destined to be enemies--and yet when they were children, they had been the bestest of friends. Lately, Amber had been wondering, though. Were they the only descendants? She had done a deeper dive, and found interestingly that two direct descendants--one of the Serenity Academy and the other from a Helexine descendant--had a kid, who had also had kids, and so on so forth. "Hm, so that kid now would be related to me," Amber remarked, searching through her pile of files. She finally found what she was looking for and took it out. She took a picture of the file and sent it to a phone number she had memorized very well, texting them, "We need to talk." ˜”*°•.˜”*°• End of Chapter •°*”˜.•°*”˜
