CHAPTER 1 It all started when my aunt had brought her wife to a family get-together and my mom had brought her brother. My mom, throughout the whole night was trying to get my aunts wife to be interested in her brother. My aunt noticed this, so did my dad. But when my aunt confronted her she merely said "Really you should be thanking me I'm saving your soul from burning in hell." Even her BROTHER was shocked with mom's behavior. But dad was the first to get over the shock and slapped her. He was quickly charged for assault and sent to jail for about a year. And has been banned from ever seeing me until my mother allows it or until I turn 16 which is when my mom will let me see him. Ring! "Thats Will!" I say. Will is one of my best friends. All though they are a he around my mom, but they're a she around our friends, Will is trans yes and they’re going to get the surgery during the summer! His mom only didn't want it to be the middle of the school year and for him to have completely changed their gender and get made fun of. I love it! I also love Will's mom. She is my idol and the most amazing adult I have ever met. She's so supportive and encouraging. And loves Will's, while my mom hates them and all of my other friends because of their sexuality. Kennedy is a lesbian, Will is trans, and Lizzy is bisexual. Oh me? I am gay but of course my mother doesn't know that, did you not just hear the entire reason my parents got a divorce? I would be disowned and homeless because my father can't come and take me cause of my, 'caring' mother but who cares? I get to be myself around my friends and that's enough for me. (Not really)
