This couldn't be. He couldn't die. Maybe it was better this way? He would get to be with her again... - - - Blaze collapsed on the ground, in severe pain. The tribute's deep blue eyes looked up at the killer. It was his fault. Blaze was stupid. So stupid. He didn't avenge her. But at least he could be with her... As the light of life was fading from him, the orange and black tom looked at Hemlock. "I wish that you never see happiness /ever/ again." He stared directly into Hemlock's eyes. Blaze clutched onto Monet's journal, a single tear dripping down his face. "Goodbye, world." And with that, his eye's dulled, and he faded away. ... But that's not the end of Blaze's story. Ghosts' are supposed to stay in the world of the living, if they died unhappily. Halfway between death and life. Until they find peace, that is. But...Blaze wasn't at peace. So why could they not hear him? He saw her...with his sister. Yes, they were there. In front of him. Yet, they couldn't see him. Love...he only opened up his heart to one cat. And now, he couldn't talk to her, even as a ghost. Could this be his ghostly curse? His emotions got the better of him, and now he couldn't express them at all. He couldn't see his own paws. How would Blaze ever find peace like this? No. He will find a way. The once-tribute knew that he would. As long as he never accepted death, he would find her. And then he would find his sister, and his family. And he would be...happy. End of Blaze's story....for now. More on Blaze's ghost will be coming soon... ;) Thank you Hemlock for being an amazing battle partner! Good luck to you in future battles <3
