Azura stared at the beautiful blue sky, laying against the green grass in her backyard. Every day she got back from school, she would do this, no matter sunny or not. She would watch the clouds move and change, she would watch the sun and its every detail, and she would watch the birds grace the sky. Azura had grown up without her mother and her father was very distant. Azura had to plan her own carpools, cook her own dinner, and many more from a very young age. Azura continued to stare at the sky, thoughts swarming her mind. She slowly stood up and brushed her jeans off. Azura slid open the door and ran up the carpeted stairs. She tip-toed to her father's bedroom and peeked inside the room. He was laying on his bed staring at his phone, as usual. "Father?" Azura aked in a quiet tone. "What is it, Azura?" Her father responded in a gruff tone. "What happened to mother?"Azura questioned, hoping for an answer. "I'm busy!" Her father said in a gruff tone once again, it except slightly louder, "I'll tell you a different time!" [ continued on notes and credits ]
Azura nodded her head and started walking back outside. Azura would never tell her father this, but she knew "a different time" would never come. How? Because she had asked her father this question countless times and never got an answer. Azura made it her mission to find out what happened to her mother. credits- trash thumbnail made on canva by me everything else is also me
