Listen okay? I was normal as can be. Literally, not like a normal demon or something. I looked like a normal human being. Nobody wants to be in Willowburrow. Not even me. But there's a whole other level of hell and I got caught up on it somehow. Let me restart and go back a little, shall we? Let me introduce myself. I am Ralina. Nothing more you need to know about me. This morning I was walking through the town with my older sister. She is pretty much everything that I'm not: tall, demonic, and blue-eyed. So she fits in so much better than this weird girl whose got acne. That reminds me, we haven't talked for about ten minutes now! And the school is about 15 minutes away. Don't ask me why we don't get to ride a bus. "So what's new?" I asked her. "Oh nothing really," replied my sister. She's been in the school for a lot longer than me and has been living with the Valkyries for years. "How's your day been?" I shrugged my shoulders; that's one thing I could say for sure. Nothing ever changes here except for new students at the school of demons. We have a quick chat but we arrive at school. A huge castle that smelled of roses and magic. surrounded by an army of girls in black dresses. The academy's main building. It's massive and almost impossible to see from the outside. It stands proudly above the rest of the buildings in Willowburrow. At the front of the castle, there is a huge garden full of flowers. It was beautiful and magical but also kinda scary. As we approach the school the smell of roses gets stronger. A woman is waiting outside the main building for us; she's wearing a gorgeous white dress. She's standing beside two men dressed in all black. They looked at me weirdly. I bet they thought I was a human. I don't blame them though. I look like a human but I don't act like one. My right eye was glowing purple, however, most people will think it was just a trick of the light. "Ah good, you both arrived. Come on in and meet some teachers." The woman turned around and headed towards the main building once again. "Let me show you where you're bunking." I followed the women inside. Inside the castle I immediately noticed someone staring at me. Not just someone, everyone. I felt as if they were judging me silently. I couldn't help but wonder how they knew my name. Or maybe I did tell them? I had no idea. After following the teacher up the stairs, we entered a classroom. There I saw a girl. She had blue skin and deep black hair. She had a third eye and glasses that have a lens for each eye. She had white horns and was quite tall. Her name was Fenti and she was the same age as me. "Hey there! You must be my roommate, Ralina is it?" She asked me. I nodded my head yes. Fenti smiled widely and put out her hand for me to shake. "I hope you'll like living here." She said. We began talking about random stuff. How our classes would go today, and how you got your house. You would get a white blouse. The shirt changed colors when you found out where you belong. Well, that sounds stupid. The rest of our time was spent talking and playing cards until dinner time arrived. We then went to the dining hall. We didn't have assigned tables for our houses, because you wouldn't get the right away. However, you could surely see that houses stuck together in groups. The boys sat at table four while the girls sat at table six. The food came shortly after. Once dinner was over, we walked out of the dining hall and into our dorm rooms. The first day was probably the worst for me. Every single person in my old school seemed to think I was an intruder. Especially Karen. Though the school's mystical gates let me in. They would prevent any humans or any other creature in. I went to the dorm. There were only three rooms in the dorm. This first one was the main room. It had a living room, a small table with 2 chairs, and a bookshelf. The next one was our bedroom, with a bunk bed and two dressers. Then, a bathroom. That's pretty self-explanatory. "Well, I guess we're going to bed, Ralina. Goodnight!" Fenti said. "Good night!" I replied before getting ready for bed. After changing into pajamas and brushing my teeth I crawled into bed. This wasn't my first time staying overnight at a boarding school but it still was a little awkward. I sighed as I stared at the ceiling. What are my powers? What was my house like? I don't know. I never tried to figure out what they could do. I've always been curious about it. But I was so tired. I needed sleep, and I had no idea what was going to happen at the assembly tomorrow. My eyes closed slowly, and soon I fell asleep.
