All drawn on bitmap scratch B) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ୭Backstory୭ -Matcha is a cat scribe at the edge of the forest who travels a lot to different places, reading and writing beautiful calligraphy and important messages for others who cannot read and write. -One day he is sent to the palace where the King lives to write a message for him. -The king does not know how to read or write. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't learn/understand. So he sent Matcha to do it for him. - For days, he spent ours in the palace, writing scrolls for the king. -When he is done with his work, he is permitted to go into the royal library to study calligraphy. Matcha enjoyed his time there and read over 200 scrolls! -Once his job is done, the King gives Matcha a special token of his appreciation. A glass decor with sakura details, sparkling in its magnificence (the pink tassel thing in the drawing). The orb had very special writing on it and was a gift to the King many years ago. -It is said that the magic orb leads to a brand new land, a new world, located at the edge of the ocean which is filled with scrolls and libraries full of endless knowledge. It was the land of the calligraphers who wrote magical and blessed calligraphy which held many powers. The only way to attain it was if you were worthy (dedicated to calligraphy), and could read and write. -The King couldn't read anyway to it had n importance to him. -Matcha was pleased and traveled for days to the land across the ocean, excited to meet these mystical scribes/calligraphers -When he got there, the land was in ruins, destroyed, and filled with torn/burnt scrolls. The calligraphers weren't even there. -Now Matcha is on a journey to find the lost calligraphers and restore the land of scribes and words from the wise.
