He danced across the room with her in his arms. Her dark hair hung behind her, her curls twirling as she swayed. Like two leaves, they practically floated across the dance floor. Her love for him was more than she could express. She would've jumped into fire for him. She would've lived without the sun if it meant she could have him forever. But, he didn't feel the same. They were halfway through the night now. She turned her head to look at him. His blonde hair framed his freckled face perfectly. His beautiful, sparkling ocean eyes lured her in until her lips were just inches away from his. "Sarah… I can't," he said, pulling away. "What do you mean? Are… Are you breaking up with me?" "I have to. I just don't feel the same way about you that you feel about me." A gasp escaped her lips. "I'm sorry." She was gone, tears forming in her hazel eyes. The clacking of her heels faded as she walked away, a broken heart amongst the crowd. He walked away too, not sure where he was going until he bumped into someone. "I'm sorry, I-" His words caught in his throat as his eyes fell on the face of the other man in front of him. The corners of the gentlemen's emerald eyes creased as he smiled. "It's alright." He smirked. "No, it's not. Maybe I could make it up to you with a dance." He bowed as he held out his hand. The other man accepted his offer and they flowed across the room. "What's your name?" the lighter-haired asked, mesmerized in the forest of the other's eyes. "Keith." "I like that name," he said as he started to play with the dark hair that belonged to the one holding him. "And what about you? You must have a name that fits your beauty." He flushed at the compliment. "Finn." She saw them. Tears flowed down her cheeks, dampening the ones that had dried to her face. "Finn?" she asked in a broken voice. He turned, still in the arms of the dark-haired man. "I'm sorry, Sarah… but I never loved you."
