"Give me a recipe for happiness," "A recipe for happiness? What?" Angela questioned, her brows crinkling in confusion. "What's needed for happiness?" Angelica asked her daughter in a soft tone. Angela pondered on this for a minute. "Sadness," She muttered quickly, ducking her head down. "Why?" Angelica wondered, tilting her head to the side. Angela mumbled something inaudible, her head still looking down at her feet. Angelica raised an eyebrow. "Why?" She repeated, her voice still soft. Angela brought her head up ever so slightly. "I dunno, it just seems right," She stuttered quietly. Angelica smiled and put a hand on her daughter's back. "It's okay if you don't want to tell, but there's no need to lie," She reassured. Angela smiled back at her mother, feeling a sudden boost of confidence. "It's fine. It's because you can't feel happy without being sad, because then you'll never know what happiness is," Angela replied. Angelica beamed. "You're a smart kid, and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise! I never thought about it like that!" Angela was also beaming ear-to-ear. "I learned for the best!"
