Definitions: Key: The key will encode your message but by no means is it unbreakable. You can use many of the same letters and symbols. It is recommended to have a 68 long digit key to encrypt all of the symbols. Your key can exceed 68 but any extra digits won't be used. Formula: You must be careful when you modify the formula. The formula is #1 (first operation) #2 (second operation) #3. It must be able to equal 1 through 68, so make sure you enter a valid formula, there is a button to test your formula. Decode: It will decode your message using the key and formula. Encode: Same thing as the decode button except it will encode!
Please note that the progress bar is not 100% accurate. Its purpose is to tell the user about how far along it is on completing a task so they don't give up. A few years ago I made a much worse version of this project using 3 numbers equaling 1 through 27 to encode all of the letters and the space key. But I wanted to include more symbols and numbers so I created this better version. I believe that all of the symbols, numbers, and letters (without capitals) are supported in this project. I will eventually make a check to make sure that you will not accidentally use a non supported symbol. All credits go to me.
