reshared bc i updated it [ click to zoom, press m for menu, space/arrow keys to advance (not mobile friendly, sorry!) ] i love sakura shes so prettyyy tried out some different procreate brushes (textured ones mostly) because im still searching desperately for a consistent art style ahaha i love foreshortening perspective but hate it at the same time someone help pls i also included a step-by-step process but im horrible at taking photos DURING the actual process so its mostly a jumble of photos haphazardly taken when i remembered i was going to record my steps uhhhh process 1. my sketch-turned-lineart (forgot to take a photo of the sketch whoops), I tried to keep the somewhat? sketchy look and just clean it up a little 2. base colors 3. a few touchups, messed with the hue/saturation a little, added some colors here and there and colored the lineart a bit 4. seems like a big jump but I just blocked in some shadows on an orangeish multiply layer 5. I added some extra shadows, a blue overlay and a background (another moment where I forgot to take photos) 6. Some shiny stuff in the background and gave the shadows a cool tint for contrast 7. painted over and cleaned up 8. glass shards as a final touch.. spoilers for tbhk chapter ninety something 9. I added a small blue overlay 10.
