shortified version after me ranting my emotions and feelings onto a google doc xd why i like scratch so much after being active and making friends on tons of different platforms: it's so dynamic. you can literally use scratch to do ANYTHING! you can post games, art, puzzles, writing pieces, so much more :D it's so friendly. many ppls say how toxic the community has become and that is why ppls have left but honestly? there are way more inappropriate and acidic societies out there, especially online. scratch is one of the safest platforms i've ever met :) it's a community. there are so many different audiences on scratch with different interests and likes that it's almost impossible to not make friends during ur stay here <3 people help each other out and share, trade, collab, etc etc that it just makes this website seem wholesome and united. it's also helped me develop my skills and actually do something instead of wasting it on social media and online games!! although it is probably a matter of self control one could say haha there are so many more reasons i appreciate scratch so much for always being there for me :] i just wanted to actually dedicate a project to that. i hope i make even more friends in the future and continue to contribute to this wonderful community <33
