Earth but different :0 --- The dominant species is a feline-like species, similar to housecats, though larger. Half the size of an average adult human. (Felis Sapiens / Almost entirely diverged from the felidae family genetically). These are called Felman! Felman on average reach 3 feet tall, however their best range would be 2.5-5 feet. Felman sport a looke similar to housecats, however the dewclaw has come closer to the toes, and acts as a thumb. They have a flexible body, and they can stand on their hind legs, similar to a human, however the natural position is on all fours. They have the same genetics as a housecat. --- TRANSPORTATION water transportation is of domesticated sea turtles (water turtles in actuality- they can go into fresh and saltwater) They are very large, with flat shells, that can easily be attached to saddles (more like a platform). tiny sea turtles are pets for some Felman, and make wonderful ones. land transportation is on a domesticated cave lions (Cavern Cats) or domesticated cougars (Cerita Cats). Cavern Cats are an extinct species in our world, however not here! They were quickly domesticated for their strength and love for play. Males have something similar to a mane, but it is not nearly as thick as a modern lions. Cavern cats are much larger than an average Felman, usually 4 feet tall. They are muscular, and usually strapped with a saddle that provides an easy seat for the owner when running. Felman families will usually bring them with them on hunts if they live in the areas where hunts are still done. Cavern Cats are lovers of dark places; so it is best to get them a large space with dim lighting, similar to a cave (artificial caves can be created for this if needed). They are very loving with their owners, and treat them like parents or siblings. Cavern Cats hate to be alone, so bringing them along with you on walks is best- which is why you will see them out and about with other Felman a lot. They require a steady, meat-based diet, generally of deer and moose. Cavern Cats have heave, thick pelts, that are actually quite short, a remainder of their ancestor's main habitat- where they lived alongside wooly mammoths, however the breeds are distributed around the world now. Cavern Cats require a lot of exercise, so a more active owner would fit them. Cerita Cats were once mountainous big cats, but now the slender, clever cat, is nicknamed as an 'errand boy'. They can usually be seen sporting bags and holding all the items their owners need out at the moment. They are less active, but like high-up places, so a platform-like nest is your best place for them. Cerita Cats are excellent helpers, and are incredibly fast, making them commonly used with traders, merchants, and product movers. They require a diet of deer. A less active owner could easily teach a Cerita cat to go on walks by itself. --- CIVILIZATION Around the world, which is mostly coated in wetlands, Felman usually live in villages with buildings sticking over water, connected with the market and other houses via bridges and platforms. Felman houses are usually very clean-cut, with smooth walls, connected rooms, and easily expandable space. The inside usually has lots of platforms for 'parkour', and functions as a navigation around the house. Felmen usually live in familial groups. In more 'modern' Felman towns, most food brought in is from farmers with domesticated animals. Felman in towns that aren't as modern or usually have little access to farming generally hunt for themselves. --- RELIGION lmao no there are multiple religions throughout the world I'm not making a bunch of them up- most of them will revolve around specific animals though (like sharks, snakes, salamanders, spiders, etc.)!
