~Synopsis~ Rumor has it that this woman started the accident that caused the Opera to shut down long ago, and now she has taken complete control of it, her twisted brilliance allowing her to move between the walls, seemingly like a ghost. When she sang for the Opera, she was known as the Angelic Voice, because of the startling, heart-wrenching quality of her penetrating songs, but now she is known simply as the Voice, and it's obvious that her genius has taken a dark turn. Because of the accident that happened several years ago, she now wears a mask over the upper half of her face, never taking it off. Although she is perhaps in league with another person, the Voice seems vengeful enough to have started this on her own... ~ Main Description ~ Corrine Leándre, known almost exclusively as 'The Voice' // Singer // Seems to be 19, but really is 38+ // female// human... Probably // Corrine possesses a head of thick, satiny dark hair, almost completely black, save for a few streaks of slightly lighter hair running through it. She almost always swirls it into a fancy bun at the back of her neck, adorned with a few clusters of white roses, her signature item. Her skin is only a shade away from being pure white, and seems to have an almost silvery sheen to it, making her seem a bit inhuman, and isn't blemished noticeably... However, the entire upper half of her face is covered by an intricate white mask, which she never, ever removes, as far as anyone can tell, and this could be hiding a defect in her features. Her eyes, although shadowed by the edges of the mask, are a deep, clouded gray, darkening into almost black at the edges, and are surrounded with a thick border of lashes. Although usually blocked by the rim of the mask, it's evident that her brows are thin and the same hue as her hair, even though they are hidden when she frowns or is in a concentrated mood. Her mouth is a strangely vivid red, although it doesn't seem unnatural, and is shaped in such a way to make her seem sensitive and a bit amused... Which is quite the opposite of her usual mood. Her figure, while almost startlingly slim and slight, is curved delicately, and, although not tall, she does possess a stately height. Even when she is only speaking, her tone is smooth, rich, and engaging- obviously the voice of a woman accustomed to singing. // She almost always wears black clothing, although her normal dress is colored a little differently. It starts as a very pale gray color at the top, and slowly darkens farther down, until it is completely raven-colored at the bottom. It is fashioned of a filmy, delicate fabric which billows around her diminutive figure whenever she takes a step, and has short, off-the-shoulder sleeves, the hem almost reaching the ground. Over this she sometimes wears a dark, thin cape, even though she never covers her head with the hood. She always has a white rose or two somewhere in her ensemble, whether it be a small corsage at her waist or shoulder, or some of the flowers twined directly into her masses of hair. // The first word that would come to mind once you interact with The Voice would probably be either 'intriguing' or perhaps 'dangerous'. Having lurked inside the opera, totally alone, for more than a decade, her mind has taken a frightening, ferocious turn, although her turbulent thoughts are only shown on occasion. On the surface, she appears poised, cunning, and cool, with an occasional threatening turn, but if you really tried to see past her observant exterior, you would see that she really is highly intelligent, and, more than likely, the tiniest bit deranged. Her conversation is generally attentive and intense, but she will become defensive and intimidating if questioned either about her mask, or the past of the opera. Her natural disposition is demanding and darkly brilliant, her genius marred by whatever tragedy occurred long ago, causing her to react in the most unexpected ways if high-strung or pushed to the limits. She seems to value formal manners highly, as she usually addresses people she just meets with grace and precision, but this can flicker back into fierceness randomly and without any cause. It seems as if she is completely and utterly heartless, as she seems to regard the ki|ler with twisted mirth and perhaps even support and seems to regard it as some sort of amusement. If studied even deeper, it would become evident that her inside is a tangled mass of emotions, among them anger, vengefulness, and slight insanity, but the most prevalent is definitely a sort of vague, bitter sorrow about what happened long ago. Her favor is hard to win, due to her proud, closed-off nature, but, if a member of the opera attracts her interest, she may indicate this with a white rose tied with a black ribbon, which she leaves in plain sight of the person in question. Elusive, haunting, and with passionate, unexpected emotions, The Voice could almost rival the ki|ler in her possible danger to the other guests.
(+) // One of her most definite likes is, obviously, white roses, as she will leave them nearby those she finds interest in, as well as wearing them most of the time. She wears her mask at all times, which may mean that she likes it, or not- But she is obviously concealing something. She favors dark clothing and often sings when alone, a faint remembrance of when she used to be a singer. // It's not very certain, but it seems like she really has a distaste for light, cheerful people, and a lack of appreciation for music. // Partially mentioned in the synopsis, but she was a singer in the opera more than a decade ago, known as the Angelic Voice. However, after the unexpected (and conveniently shrouded) accident that occurred ten years ago, she came to be known only as the voice, with an unwavering obsession with music and with remaining in complete and utter control of the opera house. At this point, she had constructed many false walls, trapdoors, hidden staircases, and more, which she uses to navigate the building with ease and almost like a ghost. More may be revealed in a roleplay. // Black, definitely. //
