。*✧⁠ Galen ✧* ⁠。 ✧ Location is circled in gray on the map! ✧⁠ ✧⁠ Appearance~ Galians generally have brown hair and very pale skin, but some of them have red hair, which is unusual among the other realms. They are usually on the taller side, and are very skilled with long-distance combat, namely archery and throwing stars. They also love poetry and dancing. ✧⁠ Landscape~ Galen is mostly very flat, although rolling hills are not unusual. The forests are usually not very thick, and fields occupy most of the land space. The weather is usually cool and moist, and it rains often. ✧⁠ Towns~ Each town is large and composed of two- or three-story buildings made of gray stone and with plain slate roofs. Most homes have fields and pastures nearby, and are usually quite a walk from the city. ✧⁠ Royalty~ Galen is actually ruled primarily by a queen, who holds most of the power over the country. Marriage is optional, but if there is a king, he usually takes responsibility for overseeing the workings of the household. The crown usually goes from queen to eldest daughter, but can be transferred to a cousin or sister if needed. ✧⁠ Roles ✧⁠ ✧⁠ Queen~ The primary ruler of Galen, rarely leaves the realm for safety reasons ✧⁠ King (optional)~ Holds authority over the household ✧⁠ Eldest princess~ Next in line to the throne ✧⁠ Other princesses~ Usually learn how to rule, as well as learning fencing and other more domestic abilities. They are not allowed to leave Illewyn (the capital), until they turn 18 ✧⁠ Princes~ Trained in the same way as soldiers, as well as receiving some book learning. They are not allowed to leave the capital until they are 18 or become a soldier ✧⁠ Soldiers~ Stationed all over Galen, every soldier is trained diligently, and has permission to arrest a Speaker immediately ✧⁠ Spies~ Not much is known about this elite group of specially trained soldiers, other than that they are sent into other realms to glean information. ✧⁠ Speakers~ Those who can hear the language of nature or animals, and are able to use this ability to accomplish more than the average person (see https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/812357124/ ). Speakers are strictly outlawed, and using their ability could land them in any realm's dungeon. ✧⁠ Nobles~ A richer class of citizens, who usually spend their time in idle amusement, and rarely venture out of the city in which their estates are located in. ✧⁠ Citizen~ Just an average person, who usually farms or owns a small shop as their living. They sometimes learn how to wield a weapon as well. 。*✧⁠ ✧* ⁠。
