Beechstar's Clan: Chapter 1 - Beechkit slowly opened her eyes. "Hu-?" She blinked. The light blinded her, so she closed her eyes again. She then felt a small paw touch her ear. "Wake up, sleepy-head!" 'Dawnkit!' Beechkit opened her eyes again, fussing. "Dawnkit, I want to sleep!" She cried. "Go away!" "What, too afraid?" Dawnkit teased. Beechkit suddenly hissed. "No!" She growled, blushing. "Lets go!" It was their fourth moon as kits, in Lightclan. Their mother and father were taken by two-legs, but they already loved to compete. "Bet I can fetch that mouse quicker than you!" Dawnkit challenged. Beechkit narrowed her small eyes and dashed for the prey. She grabbed it quickly, and Dawnkit frowned. "Your legs are longer!" He complained. Beechkit laughed, then a huge tom padded towards the kits. Dawnkit gasped, afraid to move. But Beechkit walked forward. "Hello! I haven't met you yet. Who are you?" She sniffed the tom, then he pushed her away, looking down at her. "Lightstar." He grunted. It was clear he didn't want anything to do with Beechkit, so she stopped talking. He tom shot one more look at them and left. Beechkit looked at Dawnkit. "Is that good for him to hate me?" Chapter 2: "...and Beechkit, you will be Beechpaw. I will mentor you myself." Lightstar mewed, boldly. Beechpaw gasped. Lightstar hated her. How was this possible? Lightstar got off the rock and motioned for Beechpaw to come with him. "Show me what you got." He grunted. Beechpaw stared at him. It was her first day as a apprentice! She sighed, and tried a hunting crouch that Dawnkit - now Dawnpaw at taught her. Lightstar looked surprised, then he narrowed his eyes. "Good." He hissed. "Lets move on." *** After training, Beechpaw was exausted. Dawnpaw looked fresh and ready, though. "Why are you so late?" He asked. Beechpaw's eyes widened. So late? She had training! She glanced around. All the apprentices were back. She narrowed her green eyes. "Lightstar hates me. And I know it." Chapter 3: "Beechpaw!" 'Lightstar.." She thought. Another training session? The leader walked to her. It has been 4 moons since they really talked. "I-" Lightstar hesitated. Beechpaw looked up. "Er.. warriors assesment." He then added, with a tone of proudness in his voice. Beechpaw gasped. "I'm- too young!" Lightstar smiled. "Yes, but you can defend and attack greatly. I just need you to make a friend for this." He then padded away. Beechpaw stared at him go, then shook her head. Chapter 4: Beechpaw walked around, and met Frostpaw. "Hello!" The young apprentice greeted Beechpaw warmly. "I'm Frostpaw!" Beechpaw smiled. "I'm Beechpaw." Frostpaw blinked. "Thats a funny name!" Beechpaw frowned, but deep inside laughed. "Do you want to be friends?" Beechpaw asked, shyly. "Sure!" Came the unexpected reply. "Great!" For quarter moon, Frostpaw and Beechpaw hung out, forgetting about Beechpaw's assesment. "I forgot my assesment!" Beechpaw cried, and darted to Lightstar. Lightstar blinked when he saw Frostpaw. "It looked like you made a friend. " He purred. "I'm proud of you." Chapter 5: "Frostbring! Beechfleaf! Dawntwig!" Beechleaf closed her eyes, but then Lightstars voice boomed again. "Our deputy, Fallenpool, had died. We need to appoint a new deputy." Beechfur eyes widened. Frostbring bumped her playfully. "I say this before the body of Fallenpool, our new deputy will be Beechleaf!" Silence. Beechfur looked shooked. Her leader had disobeyed the warrior code!" Frostbring and Dawntwig greeted her, but the rest looked away. Beechfur closed her eyes. Chapter 6: "Lightstar!" Blood and fur sprang out of the clans, and Lightstar was bleeding heavily. "Featherheart! Help!" Featherheart was Beechleafs new mate, and he came zoomming to help her get a warrior off her. A screech came out, and Lightstar stopped moving. "Lightstar!" Beechleaf cried again. She couldn't lose her mentor and the leader of the clan! "He was on his last life.." Featherheart sighed. Just then, Frostbring dropped dead, and Beechleaf's eyes welled up. Her only friend was gone now. Then, a warrior was going to jump onto Feaherheart. "Watch out!" Beechleaf screeched, but it was too late. Featherheart, Frostbring, and Lightstar were all gone. Beechleaf saw a small orange body drop. Dawntwig. After the battle was over, Beechleaf went to the moonpool and got her 9 lives, and her name, Beechstar. Beechstar now lives with her new mate, Treeclaw, and apprentice, Ivypaw, and so many others. But she'll always have a place in her heart for her old clan. '|| ||'
