Step 1: Press the space key or tap/click to run a test to see if the code works. Step 2: Click "see inside" and backpack both of the encoder and decoder scripts (the ones with the hot pink hat blocks) if the test is successful. Step 3: Drag both of the scripts into the sprite that you want. (Bonus: Step 4 to make things easier): The variables included in the scripts will be set for all sprites. To fix this, add scratch addons to your browser (only works on PC, tutorial in website) Click on "addons", search "variable", scroll until you find "Switch variables between for this sprite only and for all sprites", and toggle it on. Then you can easily switch the variables included in the encoder and decoder scripts to "for this sprite only" inside the sprite you chose.
Credits: Credit to Griffpatch for encoding and decoding tutorial. Notes: -Hi! These are some Decoder and Encoder scripts that you can use for your project, you don't even need to give me credit! I just want to help people who are struggling with Encoders and Decoders in their multiplayer games. -There may not be anything inside the project due to removing scripts that do not work, and the scripts in the project may not work.
