These are just intended as a fun way for artists to share more about themselves and their work, no pressure! :] - To answer, remix and replace my art and answers with your own. ..also what do I name the little creature?? - QUESTIONS: 1. To start off, how long have you been creating art for? · I've been drawing since I was very young, but around 4th grade was when I started spending a lot of time on it 2. Do you consider yourself a beginner artist? · I don't think so, considering the amount of time I've been creating art for :] 3. How often do you draw? · it really depends- anywhere from 0-10 times a day 4. What mediums do you have experience with? · digital, pencil/paper, ink, charcoal, pastel, acrylic/oil/watercolor, and polymer/regular clay! 5. What's your favorite medium? · probably pencil/paper 6. What was the last thing you created/drew? · a [traditional] commission from a friend! it was of that lady that sandra oh plays in kiIIing eve 7. What's your favorite thing to draw? · people maybe?? or strange little creatures <3 8. Favorite color / color combination? · PINK AND LIGHT BLUE 9. Least favorite color / color combination? · my least favorite color is bright orange, and orange/green, orange/purple, and green/red are probably my least favorite combinations. I also dislike palettes composed mostly or entirely of pastels 10: What, in your opinion, is a feature that defines your artstyle? · not sure about art, but for my handwriting, I don't dot my i's lol 11. Do you prefer digital or traditional art? · traditional 12. Do you flip your canvas, if you draw digitally? · most of the time! 13. Vector or Bitmap? · usually bitmap, but I like vector's "layered" options 14. What's your favorite digital art app [and brush]? · either procreate or kleki- and I don't think I have a favorite brush 15. How do you protect your art from theft? · watermarking, and several other ways 16: Do you allow recoloring of your work? Tracing? · I would prefer that people did not recolor my work, but the community guidelines state that it's allowed and I can't really fight that 17. Are you okay with people reposting your original art with credit? · yes, that's fine, as long as credit is given, but only on this site please 18. Do you feel comfortable with people referencing your art? How heavily? · I am 100% fine with people drawing their own characters in the same poses to learn, but please do not trace or reference my characters. if in doubt, please ask me! 19. Do you have a main OC / persona? Who are they? · not at the moment- but it might be the weird little goat thing with 6 legs bc I love him <333 or sometimes I just draw myself?
QUESTIONS [continued]: 20. Halfway there- how many OCs do you have? · idk 21. Do you draw fanart? If so, for which fandom[s]? · I don't draw all that much fanart myself, but I'm often commissioned to draw characters from many different fandoms. that's how I get interested in things 22. Name an aspect of art that you're really good at. · people tell me i'm good at drawing hands, but it's mostly that I just find them easy while lots of people struggle with them 23. Name something you'd like to improve on in your art. · proportions 24. What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your artistic process? · my favorite part is probably sketching, and my least favorite is definitely digital shading. ew. 25. Who or what inspires you? · fellow artists, media, and the world around me! 26. Name 3 [or more!] of your favorite artists. 1: @12thepurpledragon - they come up with such imaginative poses and ideas and have really interesting characters! 2: @wingsoffirehybrid - they have such a unique style and their designs are amazing! 3: @.Fenbound on DA - they draw such beautiful backgrounds and their characters are absolutely gorgeous :0 [can you tell I like character design? lol] 27. Is there an artist that you think deserves more recognition? Who? · all the artists that I'm currently following! 28. Are you into animation? · yes absolutely 29. Are you considering art as a future career or part-time job? If you have something else in mind, what is it? · I would really like to be a surgeon, or have a job where I could put linguistics to use, but art is a solid backup plan and I will likely use it as a source of income at one point! 30. Do you take [or have you taken] art classes? If so, what kind? · used to be an art studenttt 31. What tips or advice would you offer to a beginner artist? · try new things, experiment, and find what works best for you, but don't feel pressured to immediately love every piece you make! no one does. above all, trust the process and don't be too hard on yourself 32. Do you listen to anything while you draw? If so, what? · I usually listen to music while I draw if it's available! 33. Do you sell your art online, in person, or at all? · I take in-person commissions 34. What are your go-to art materials? · honestly just pencil and paper, and I really love those cheap bic pens for some reason lol 35. Do you prefer drawing humans or animals? · that's a hard one for me, it really depends 36. Painting or sculpting? · again, depends 37. Who is your favorite classical artist? · Claude Monet or Salvador Dalí 38. Do you prefer realism, semi-realism, or cartoon? · I usually stick to semi-realism and cartoon, but occasionally I use hyper-realism 39. What is your favorite art piece [by another artist]? · any of the waterloo bridge series by monet! 40. Last one!
