Pls read and enjoy! (read this before the below part) Preview I opened my eyes seeing my sister flame and my parent’s. Who am I? Hi my name is Moon I'm a black wolf with white markings. My parents are charcoal (leader of legend pack) a black wolf and my mom Star a red fox who died soon after we were born. I have a sister named Flame who is a red fox like mom. We live in legend pack. Our dad is the leader. There are other packs ( mountain pack, peak pack and grass pack). Mountain pack consists of bears and cougars their leader is Coon the cougar. Peak pack consists of eagles and hawks their leader is Torn the hawk. When a pack member is a certain age they have a ceremony in their honour and our given magical gift to be able to change to pegasus or phoenix whenever they wanted. I was waiting for that day. Chapter 1 Pg 1 I woke being shaken by flame. “What is it” I said “today's the day!!” “are you sure?” “yes yes I swear” I jumped up quickly. Giving my fur a quick grooming. “Hurry up!!” “Im coming”. A couple minutes later we ran into the main area. Our dad stood in front of us. I could not believe it I thought today is the day! When we find out if we turn into pegasus of phoenix!! Pg 2 Father looked at my sister flame. Step forward he said. I could see the proudness in dads eyes. He then spoke in a deep voice. Great ancestors look down on this young fox help her throughout her journey. His voice boomed. Like you helped us! Show her who she shall be! Whether its wings of a feather or wings of flame!! Show her! He hollered she suddenly was lifted into the sky. Her eyes showing fear, excitement and confusion. Suddenly she was engulfed in flames. She burst out. SHE WAS A PHOENIX!!! She flew slowly down landing next to me. She turned back into a fox. She smiled at em and hugged me. I realized it was my turn to step forward. I slowly took a step towards my dad. My dad repeated the words he said in front of flame. Suddenly I felt my feet of the ground ! I was floating in the air! I stopped myself from letting a scream of excitement and fear together out. Suddenly everything went black for what felt like eternity. Pg 3 I suddenly felt this freeness as if everything had disappeared and it was just me in the blackness. I burst out and finally looked around. I WAS FLYING!!! I looked down everything looked so far away. I then saw i had hooffs?!?! Wait I..I…I was a PEGASUS!!! I slowly flow downwards landing and hugging my sister just as she hugged me. It has been many days now since the ceremony. Flame woke me looking very scared. What is it? i asked. I then heard loud crashing and howls. Suddenly our dad rushed in. Mountain pack is attacking!! we need your help! He howled running back outside. I looked at Flame she nodded and we both went running straight into battle. I felt claws scraping me everywhere but I kept on. Pg 4 I turned too my right I saw coon ( cougar/leader of mountain pack) attacking my dad. I rushed to help. But I then felt enormous pain bring me to the floor. It was salmon ( a bear/coons daughter). I was struggling to move and fight back. When suddenly i was free i looked up too see Flame attacking Salmon in phoenix form from the skies. I jumped up on Salmons back but too my horror she flinged me of. I knew if i hit the ground from such a height i was dead. Just as i was ready to die i felt like i was frozen. I slowly opened my eyes to see i was in pegasus form! I flew up and helped Flame attack Salmon from the skies. Soon Salmon was running in terror away mission accomplished. I turned to thank Flame when i felt weak. I saw coon leaning over my dad in a pile of blood with blood coming out of her mouth. N..O..NO i screamed. I charged at Coon so hard she flung in the air hitting a boulder and falling down blood dripping from her head. DAD…DAD are u ok? SAY SOMETHING!! There was no response. I looked at Flame wh..y…why isn't he saying anything!?!? She just looked down ,tears dripping down her face. CONTINUE READING Down there!
Pg. 5 (Three weeks later) I stood in our den waiting for Leaf to come. Leaf was our pack leader advisor she was a light grey wolf. She would be helping decide who will be our next leader. Flame went to visit where we buried dad. For me it was too hard to even look at the grave. Leaf slowly stepped in glancing at me before making herself comfortable in a small nest of grass. Flame followed her in making a seat next to me. Leaf groomed fur. As you both know we must choose a new leader she said camly. I looked at her h..how will we do that? I asked. Leaf looked at me “There are three ways. It will be up to you too chose.” Flame suddenly looked up. “ You're just gonna act like it’s normal and we need a new leader?” She shouted. Leaf stared at the ground. It…it's not like that Flame i mi..miss him a lot too. Flame just got up and ran outside. Leaf looked at me. Will she be ok? Leaf whispered. I nodded trying to look way more sure than i was. Leaf looked uneasily around the room. She then cleared her throat and began. So um the 3 ways, 1 you both could fight for the position as leader. Or you could choose who is gonna be leader and the other can stay in the pack. If you don't like either of these you could decide who is gonna be leader and the other can go start a branch of our clan with its own name in a different territory. You're both free to choose which one you want she said. I better check on Flame i said. Well come tell me when you have chosen. We will Leaf have a nice day i said trying to seem more happy then i felt. I went to go find Flame. I found her sitting down in front of dad's grave. I sat down next to her. She looked at me. Remember when dad did the ceremony just a moon ago? She asked. I nodded. I miss him so much, were never going to see him smiling or hear him howl she said barely croaking out the words. She started to cry. I gave her hear a comforting lick and told her everything would be ok. I wish i could convince myself of that. Pg.6 (1 moon later) Flame sat next to me as we discussed who will become our pack leader. We would never fight each other so that left the other two options. So do you want to be leader? I asked Flame. She looked up at me. I'm not sure she said i stared into her eyes. Well I think you would both be amazing leaders. I spinned around to see Leaf coming in. Thank you I said. She looked at Flame. Flame surely you don't want to live your life in the pack instead of showing what you're capable of? She asked. I stared at Flame. Flame stood up and said I want to make my own pack. Then That’s we will do I said. Leaf smiled well then we should get started she said excitedly. Wow I thought, I was going to be a leader and Flame was too! Pg 7 I sat by Flame as we discussed a good name for the she was making. She decided on Fire pack. And that only wolves and foxes who could turn into phoenix’s were allowed. Next it would be time to establish territory and sleeping areas eating areas and stuff. Tomorrow we will go look around the fields, she said to me, smiling.
