I was born on March 23 2001, along with my twin sister. You would have thought life was perfect right? Wrong. My mother and stepfather despised me. Mostly because I looked like my father. You see, my father was a God. I don't know which one though. That meant my and my sister were demigods, but I was the only one who inherited his power. It's useless because I can't figure out how to make it do anything. The only thing special about me was my intelligence. (The only thing Mother likes about me) Anyway to get back on track I also looked just like him. The same dark purple hair and the same heterochromia eyes. But why does Mother hate Father so much? My father refused to make her a Goddess because she couldn't control the immense power. She would die after a week. Eventually, Father got tired of her begging and ran away a week before we were born. Anyway back to the most important part: My life. I was named Florence. But you will call me Flo (or Ren if you want). I also was a slow learner. I learnt how to walk when I was 2. Mother sent me and my sister to daycare. I hated it there, it was too loud and colourful. But of course Mabel loved it but that's because she's totally optimistic. Mabel's my sister. As cute as a button but a complete nightmare. She enjoyed daycare because it was the only place she could make friends, pull people's hair and have a decent conversation with me without anyone annoying here. Mother hated me so much that she didn't even let me talk to Mabel. So we attempted to make up a language (we failed). I know you think Mother's not that bad right? I could write a whole essay about her. I'll start with the fact that she is a total money freak. We had enough money for us to live our lives but for some reason she wouldn't let me live mine. For example, she would never let me get my own clothes. I had to wear the old clothes that Mabel used to wear. It was so unfair. Mabel made a system where, whenever she went to the shops she would buy 2 sets of clothes. One for herself and one for me. She would convince Mother to buy both of them, then when she would tell her she didn't want it anymore and it would become mine. That's my sister for you. She's so sweet to me.
