Realizes their gender is fluid, but refuses to think she ever feels masculine genders. Comes out to a few of xyr friends as pan. Pretty uneventful year, starting to think more about coming out than questioning. Cuts hair even shorter, starts getting a small bit of dysphoria, mostly from their hair. Wren, 14 y/o, they/them, genderfluid, pansexual. Realizes they do feel male genders sometimes, and goes with the label genderfluid. They also find a new name that they like. Starts high school and comes out to most of their friends. Their crush says she likes them and they start dating. Their algebra teacher is homophobic, and they start really liking science. Cuts hair really short and dyes a streak purple. They are introduced to the therian community but don’t think they’re a therian. Wren, 15 y/o, they/she/neos, agender, biromantic, asexual. Grows hair out a bit and re-dyes it blue. Realizes she’s ace, and actually has a preference for girls, making them bi. Flor doesn’t really know what’s going on with xyr gender, so they just go with agender for now. Is now in a qpr with her best friend. They come out to their parents as bi, ace, and agender and they are very supportive! Her younger brothers are confused and always purposely misgender zem. Wren realizes she’s a cat therian and starts learning quadrobics. Wren, 16 y/o, any pronouns, bi, ace, genderqueer. Really isn’t sure about her gender, decides genderqueer fits, at least for now. Grows hair out more and dyes it teal. Starts getting really involved in their school band. Quits softball. Still dating his girlfriend. Wren, 17 y/o, any pronouns, trigender(genderfluid, genderfae, and agender), biromantic, asexual. Does a bunch of research and finds that the label trigender really fits them! Breaks up with her girlfriend, but they’re still friends. Is starting to be really interested in astronomy. Their parents finally let them get a frog for a pet. Generally has life figured out, but is a bit scared for collage next year. Finally decides to come out to parents as a therian, they are a bit confused but respect it.

One of Wren’s friends. They “dated” in fourth grade before she came out as trans. Savannah, she/her, cis girl, pan, ace. Wren’s friend, does dance. Super funny and was always like a big sister figure to Wren. Rai, all pronouns, genderfluid, pan. Has the same deadname as Wren, they bonded over that and the fact that they both play oboe. They love music like Wren. Rose, she/her, cis girl, lesbian. Wren’s friend and Aurora’s girlfriend. Not super close to Wren, but they still are friends. Kay, she/xe, demigirl, lesbian. Wren’s girlfriend. She quit softball the year after xe met Wren. Has had a crush on Wren for a while, but didn’t have the courage to tell them until xyr friend helped her. Logan, he/him, cishet, kind of transphobic. Wren’s crush in 6th grade, was kind of friends with her in 6th grade but the next year kind of forgot about him. Bullied Aurora, which caused Wren to not like him anymore. Mom, she/her, ally, always was an ally since Aurora came out, supported Wren no matter what. Dad, he/him, ally, wasn’t as much of an ally as Wren’s mom but always loved them and supported them much more after he understood more about Wren’s identity. Charlie, he/him, cishet. Misgenders Wren on purpose because he thinks it’s funny. Wren and their parents think otherwise, but they can’t get him to stop so they just ignore it. Wren still loves him though. Loves chess and reading and dislikes team sports. Three years younger than Wren. Andrew, he/him, cishet. Follows whatever Charlie does most of the time, generally obnoxious.
