Update! My turtles are doing pretty well so far, and coconuts birthday is coming soon! She’s going to be a solid year old on April 15. I know the tank isn’t clean, but the water isn’t changed yet. I’m just gonna change this after making this project. Coconuts a girl, but we never found out Mellys gender. The turtle hatcher/owner said that she/he was too young, and the technique they used to find genders needed them (the turtles) to be older. I raised Coconut since she was three months old, and Melly since she was three weeks old. Melly has the lighter shell since she’s much younger. Both are red ear slider turtles. They have orange stripes on their faces, which is how they got their names.
