hello noble swc-ers and welcome to the word wars of march 2023 (swc = starr wants cookies, don't forget to give her one) ;D ━━━━ ☁︎ what are word wars? ˊˎ- word wars are much like word sprints – but you're competing against someone else to see who can write the most. the winner earns 100 points and a daisy for their cabin! ━━━━ ☁︎ how to do a word war ˊˎ- comment on this project with the following information below. once you've done that, someone with a similar wpm from a different cabin will reply. after you've both agreed on a time and (optionally) a prompt, you both write on your own, and then report back how many words you wrote. whoever wrote more words comments in the main cabin that they won a word war. if you wrote with a prompt, remember to comment that too to claim your extra points. ↠ your cabin ↠ your wpm (you can find out your wpm at www.typingtest.com) ↠ how long you want to race for (an average war is usually ~2-5 minutes, however, wars can be however long you'd like to make them!) ↠ whether or not you'd like to use a prompt (see below) ↠ whether you'd like proof of your writing to shown or not (and optional is an option, too!) ━━━━ ☁︎ prompts ˊˎ- if you want to, you can choose a prompt that you and the person you're word warring with can both base your writing off of! NEW: while prompts have been an aspect of word wars for a while, this session we're introducing something new ;) if you word war with a prompt, you can earn 25 points - whether you win or not! here are some prompts that have been provided from some swcers! very jay rawr ↠ “Look outside, how many trees do you see?
