Razor barked "Run" Spark ran and ran she wouldn't let her unborn kits die the stampede of buffalo's were catching up she ran as fast as she could across the clearing Spark saw a small tunnel she quickly went inside, if the spotted her it would surly be the end for her and her unborn kits. She waited in silence for a few seconds and peeked out ,they had not seen her! she stayed in the tunnel for a few minutes and gradually fell asleep the next day she saw a mouse scuffling in the tunnel it would be soon until it realized there was a hungry wolf in the tunnel she swiftly hopped on the mouse quickly and waited until it fell limp she took a bite into the warm mouse as the blood bathed her tongue it felt as it had been many sunrises that she hadn't ate she started searching for rose petals to make a temporary den she looked all over the clearing but only managed to find some leaves but that had to do she grabbed them with her mouth and went back to her tunnel with the leaves and made made herself a temporary den. she lay in her den and fell asleep. She dreamed about the stampede of buffalo's except this time they had killed Razor. She woke with a start she went on the rock above her tunnel and looked at the sky at the moon and the stars she had to find Razor. Razor stared at the star filled sky with a shiny moon. How could he let the mother of his unborn kits run to an unknown place? What kind of father was he. He ran and ran he had to find Spark he started walking and broke into a run he saw a blur of himself running he just ignored it and kept running but the blur kept coming closer and noticed it was another wolf.......It was Spark! when he saw her he saw her eyes sparkling with joy but she looked so tired and had a skinny frame he could see her ribs showing they slept in the middle of the clearing until daytime. They found a stream nearby Razor caught some fish for Spark when he noticed she was also trying to catch some he scolded her saying " your caring kits you should save your energy!" Soon after that he saw a giant bird eating a mouse he silently dropped into a hunting crouch and jumped on the giant bird as it fell limp he gave it to Spark. She insisted that he should eat it because he hadn't ate anything. Razor was tempted by the plump bird but instead lied and said that he saw a dead buffalo pup on the way to find her and ate it. He pushed the plump bird toward her. He was relieved when he saw her eat it she looked so skinny. That was so good Spark thought as she licked her lips. they made dens for themselves when night made its way. She looked at the moon and gradually fell asleep. "RAZOR," he heard Spark yell he felt a hint of joy in her voice as he rushed over and saw a tiny pup barking he smiled with joy and asked "what will you name him?" "I'll name him...Blade." "That's a great name" Razor replied. This place is so big these green lines are soft and long Blade thought. I cant wait till i can catch something for mother or father I'll hunt so well they wont need to hunt anymore...."BLADE come here its time to sleep"he heard his mother Spark yell "But i'm not tired he complained.............
