He put away the book he was reading, the exact place on the shelf. photographic memory helped with finding where things belong, as well as the page he was on, so he never bothered to mark his spot. He hadn't old anyone about his weird ability. It wasn't common to be anything other than... average. So he just pretended that he struggled a little but, or he put a leaf in it and nobody noticed. He hadn't read that book in a while. He believed it was called, "The Life Games" It was quite a gruesome book, all about... well, all about d3@th. Berry wasn't /scared/ of d3@th. In fact, it was quite the opposite... But he hated it. It and all the pain that was brought with it. Berry had been collecting for quite a while, but... A scream. This scream wasn't like anything he'd heard before. It wasn't a "Ow, that hurt scream," or a "Goodbye scream," it was an ear-shattering, "/I'm leaving the world and I don't want to/," Scream. His brain immediately went to his mom. She had tried to... You know what before, but there's no telling what was going on in her brain that she didn't tell anyone. He ran and ran towards the source of the scream. It was only until he saw the grey bricks of the castle wall that he realized he wasn't in the forest anymore.
